IG InterfoldUI Audit Studio Book a UI audit

The Brief

Refund & Scheduling

An audit is a booked block of a small team's time, so this policy is about scheduling as much as money. It's meant to be fair both ways: you shouldn't pay for work we didn't do, and we shouldn't hold a slot that a paying project could have used.

Deposits

Once we agree scope, we ask for a deposit — usually half the fee — to reserve your dates. The balance is due when the report is delivered. Fees are quoted in US dollars: $1,200 for the UI Audit and $4,700 for the Audit + Redesign Sprint. The deposit is what actually books the slot; without it, dates stay provisional.

If you reschedule

Plans move — we know. Tell us at least five working days before kickoff and we'll shift your dates to the next open slot at no cost, deposit intact. Inside five days, we'll still do our best to move you, but the reserved time may already be committed.

If you cancel before we start

Cancel more than five working days before kickoff and we refund the deposit in full. Cancel inside that window and we keep a portion of the deposit to cover the slot we held and turned other work away for; we'll tell you the exact amount when you cancel, and it's never more than the deposit itself.

Once the audit is under way

After we've started playing the build and marking it up, the work is genuinely being done, so fees for work completed are non-refundable. If you stop a project midway, you pay for the portion delivered and we hand over whatever we've produced to that point.

If the delivered report misses the brief

If the report doesn't cover the surfaces we agreed, tell us within fourteen days. We'll put it right — that's the first remedy, and usually the only one needed. Where we genuinely can't deliver what was scoped, we'll refund the part of the fee that covers the gap.

How to request a change or refund

Email [email protected] with your project name and what you'd like to happen. Approved refunds go back to the original payment method, typically within ten working days.
