An audit from Interfold is a considered professional opinion about your game's interface. It's honest and it's specific, but it is still an opinion — and it's worth being clear about what that does and doesn't promise.

What our work is

We review your HUD, menus, inventory and onboarding against a fixed set of interface heuristics, and we tell you where players are likely to stumble. The judgements are ours, formed by playing the build and marking it up. Another reviewer might weight things differently; that's the nature of design critique.

What we don't promise

We don't guarantee outcomes. A cleaner interface tends to help retention and reviews, but the numbers a game does depend on far more than its UI — the design, the marketing, the timing, the competition, and how faithfully our recommendations get built. Treat any figures in our case examples as illustrations of past work, not a forecast for yours.

We hand you better decisions, not a warranty on results.

Implementation stays with you

The report advises; your team ships. Once a recommendation leaves our hands, how and whether it's implemented is your call, and the result of that build isn't something we can stand behind.

Not a gambling service

Interfold is a design consultancy. We work on the interfaces of video games. We do not run, host, promote or advise on gambling, betting or any real-money wagering, and nothing on this site should be read that way. Our subject is usability — how clearly a player can read and control a game — and nothing to do with money riding on an outcome.
